Here is the Interview I shot with CBC Calgary in October 2009. It was a great experience, and I liked that my son and erstwhile assistant got to be a part of it. Next up, Global News wants to do a piece about the mosaics. Should happen in mid Dec.
Last week I was lucky enough to be asked to appear on the The Roger Kingkade Podcast. Roger is a radio personality here in Calgary, and an extremely nice guy. We chatted for an hour, about Lego and other things.
Be warned, there is some language and content that isn’t appropriate for the little ones.

CBC Calgary was kind enough to cover the visit of Stampede Board President Dr. David Chalack to the Stampede Mosaic I built. It was a real pleasure to meet Dr. Chalack, and to show him the piece. Enjoy.
I debuted my latest piece at Seattle’s BrickCon this weekend: “War of the Worlds” (More on the mosaic in another article to come). For the second year in a row, I was awarded the “Best Mosaic” trophy, and even received some votes for “Best in Show”. Seattle and Brickwares seem to get along very well!

2010 was a very busy year for Brickwares. I built 4 large mosaics, as well as some smaller pieces, had a few comissions, joined a LUG, won a number of awards, and my LEGO world expanded as I met and networked with a number of luminaries within the hobby.
